What does it take to complete the very first run from Disneyland in Anaheim to Walt Disney World in Orlando, a journey of 2,761 miles? Grit, determination, a love of community and a very good sense of humor! In this week's episode, we finish up our interview with Don Muchow, the first ever finisher of the Mouse 2 Mouse run. We cover all the details from his fueling strategy and course design right up through his epic arrival at the Magic Kingdom. This is part 2 of a special series!

Don is a seasoned ultrarunner, Ironman triathlete and Type 1 diabetic. He's the founder of Type 1 Determined, an organization devoted to connecting and empowering people with Type 1 diabetes to walk, run, ride and play with confidence. Even more incredible, this run was completed within a larger Run Across the US, with a total of 2,845 miles, which Don completed on April 7, 2021.

Run time: 40:00
